Northwest Florida congressman Matt Gaetz is holding two “Open Gaetz Day” events next week, with a schedule of public events in Pensacola on Monday and Wednesday and in Milton on Thursday.

On Monday, Jan. 22, Gaetz will open the day with a visit to Tate High School at 9:00 a.m. He’ll then hold “mobile office hours” at the PenAir Federal Credit Union building at 1495 East Nine Mile Road from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Gaetz will then tour Ascend Performance Materials in Cantonment and visit the Home Depot store at 541 West Nine Mile Road before going door-to-door to visit community residents in Cantonment and Ensley from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Gaetz will host a town hall meeting at Navy Federal Credit Union’s Heritage Oaks Campus in Beulah.

On Wednesday morning, Gaetz will participate in a “small business crawl,” visiting Bluejay’s Bakery, Armored Frog, Blue Morning Gallery, and the Bodacious Family of Shops in downtown Pensacola. Wednesday evening, Gaetz will participate in a Veterans Town Hall to discuss veterans’ issues in Pensacola. The event, which is hosted by the Concerned Veterans for America, will take place from  6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn located at 1144 Airport Boulevard in Pensacola.

Thursday, Gaetz will head to Milton, where he will open the day by hosting a “radio town hall” on WEBY 1330 AM from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. At 9:00 a.m., he’ll attend the meeting of the Santa Rosa County Commission, where he’ll present a local resident with a Carnegie Medal. From 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Gaetz will visit Bennett Russell Elementary School, Milton High School, and Hobbs Middle School, after which he’ll hold mobile office hours from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hobbs Middle.
