Cannon brings to her new role more than a decade of experience in counseling and family services. Throughout her career, she has delivered exceptional service to Florida’s kids through mental health, mentorship and foster care services.

“I remember the first time Lindsey came to speak to the Board of Directors,” said CHS Board Chair Pamela Schutzmann. “We are thrilled for the future of Children’s Home Society of Florida as Lindsey moves into the role of executive director for our region.”

In collaboration with statewide and local community partners, CHS is working to reshape the future for children in the Western Panhandle, empowering them and their families to find and build upon their strengths, to rise above the challenges and circumstances they face, and to open doors to opportunity.

“I am truly honored to lead the CHS team serving Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties,” said Cannon. “Throughout my career, I’ve never seen a more committed and amazing staff. I look forward to guiding them on a journey of delivering innovative solutions and quality service for children and families.”
