Grammy Award-winning musician Norah Jones will perform at Pensacola’s Saenger Theatre on Monday, March 6, 2017, officials announced Monday.

Jones first emerged on the world stage with the February 2002 release of Come Away With Me, her self-described “moody little record” which grew into a global phenomenon and swept the 2003 Grammy Awards. Since then, Norah has sold over 45 million albums worldwide and become a 9-time Grammy winner. She has released a series of critically acclaimed and commercially successful solo albums — Feels Like Home (2004), Not Too Late (2007), The Fall (2009), and Little Broken Hearts (2012) — as well as albums with her collective bands The Little Willies and Puss N Boots. The 2010 compilation …Featuring Norah Jones showcased Jones’ versatility by collecting her collaborations with a diverse group of artists including Willie Nelson, Outkast, Herbie Hancock, and Foo Fighters.

Jones released Day Breaks, her sixth studio album, in October. Press materials for the album describe it as a “kindred spirit” to Come Away With Me, Jones’ 2002 debut, while noting that the new album is “unquestionably the work of a mature artist who has lived life and grown immensely in her craft.” The album features jazz luminaries including Shorter, Smith, and Blade, who played drums on Jones’ debut record.

Tickets for Jones’ Pensacola show are $71.00 (plus applicable service charge) and go on sale to the public on Friday, November 18 at 10 a.m. at the Saenger Theatre Box Office, charge by phone by calling 800-745-3000, or online at
